NARS NARSissist Palette.. I Caved!

NARSissist Palette £50 (£64.99 from Roses Beauty Store - no stock online anywhere else)

When wandering the beauty halls of House of Fraser, the new NARSissist palette caught my eye and after not wanting this at all, I swatched it and just couldn't help myself.
I asked the SA if they had any left, I was expecting a big fat no, but apparently House of Fraser received their stock of it late so she actually had 10 left and I ended up waltzing out with a cheesy grin on my face.

Now, I probably did not need another neutral palette but as you can probably understand, for some reason this one seemed 'different'. A lovely, slim palette housing an array of beautiful shades from a creamy matte vanilla to a deep, sparkly brown. This is definitely a smokey eye lovers dream and after owning the NARS And God Created The Woman palette, I knew I could trust their lasting power and pigmentation.

The lighter shades are not quite as pigmented as the darker, but they do not lack quality. Below are a few swatches on my fingers so you can check out the colours.

I love this, I have been using it ever since I got my paws on it and I am pretty happy with my purchase!

Will you be splurging?

I dont know what to get either this or the Smashbox full exposure palette to compensate, have you seen that one yet?

    1. It is gorgeous - I really wasn't bothered until I saw it in HOF and just needed it! I have the Smashbox, which I do love, but find I only use the matte shadows as the shimmery ones are quite glittery, whereas with the NARS they have more of a mix of matte, sheeny and a few shimmers.

Let me know what you go for hun! x

    2. Forgot that if you use the code '100' it gets you 10% off Roses Beauty Store - so makes the palette a bit cheaper!
